life is properly metaphored as a gladiator war, for no prize but the "victory" of making superficially defined "thems" fail.

Life is a game umpired by the mindless crude force of natural selection and there is no decency or fairness enforced.

the thinking mind came after the mechanism and originally only had the low purpose of making the other competitors die faster.

now with our educated high-mind we ponder the bloody game and ultimately question whether this game, or any life game can be rationally played.
