CATIE CURTIS, FEBRUARY 12th

She was dubbed "a folk-rock goddess" by The New Yorker; her avid fans agree.
Catie's second self-titled album, in 1997, contained the single "Soulfully," which was featured in episodes of "Dawson's Creek" and "Chicago Hope." Last October. "Tangled Voices: A Year With Catie Curtis," was released, a documentary about Catie's life as a performer, and features interviews with admirers Janis ;an and Mary Chapin Carpenter.

THE POLYJESTERS, FEBRUARY 19
High-Energy Former Street Performers Offer Money-Back Guarantee!
Sasketchewan's The Polyesters were "born"on the streets of Nice, France, where brothers Jason and Sheldon Valleau performed on the street. While Jason played the bass, Sheldon sat beside it, playing it as a drum, and they learned to dazzle an audience with humor, energy, and a nostalgic love for the hot jazz musical style of the 1920's and '30's.
Now a quartet including Sheldon on lead ukulele, Scott Duncan on fiddle, and Rob Vulic on percussion, they write and perform songs that hearken to the traditions of gypsy jazz, music hall. and jug band music. The Polyesters offer a full money-back guarantee to anyone whose expectations are not exceeded by their madcap performances.
Special guest Joe Giacoio's award-winning "two-handed" guitar style draws from influences such as Michael Hedges and Preston Reed. His quirky songs about Superman's mid-life crisis, and the joys of wearing women's underwear, on the other hand, are uniquely his own.
Admission is $15.
