nature sucks nurture is unnecessarily and unfairly inconsistent... diversity, and inequality, has a practical limit...negative threat outweighs positive potential the future is many times more important than the present engineered solutions are the only rational choice shorten line between desire and fulfillment/satisfaction violence is unsustainable as a solution to conflict virtual reality maximize possibilities, potentially creates fail-safe environment, minimize losses consciousnesses is not just the human experience... the need to wean the human animal off its unnecessary addiction to animal exploitation. the "choice" to live should be as free as possible Democratic, economic, and educational, reforms over population THE BOOK OF... no operating instructions included... we must define value, productivity, and ultimately purpose. although we manifest a conscious will it is a product of deterministic programming... genetic disposition, emotional conditioning, and intelligence education and interactive byproducts we learn (are programed) through exposure and/or experience, and mental recombination. the basics truths of value can be realized, specifically described, and understood. for any existence or event to have meaning or value it must implicate the welfare of a consciousness. emotions like desire are largely projections of native and conditioned psychology that have dubious credibility as aides to understanding actual value pain and pleasure are not opposites but states of comfort. consciously endured states of substantial discomfort in themselves create a certain "negative component" that requires the existence of a compensating positive component if a minimum of value neutrality is to be obtained or maintained. consciousness is trapped in a zero sum game... in practical fact the only true positive is elimination/prevention of a true negative. the perception of all other positive worth is an illusion of desire which perverts evaluation of the worth of lesser states of discomfort. VOL 1 [the relevant beginning] reproduction necessitates consumption the possibility of imperfect replication will inevitably be exploited to create naturally selected "enhanced" variation reproduction creates potential consumables and in a closed system the machines will inevitably cannibalize each other and exist in parasitic interrelationships through the passage of time the tools of consumption and preservation will inevitably become more complex and or specialized organisms will tend to exploit niches of opportunity behavior is a tool of consumption and preservation and it will inevitably complexify and/or specialize. behavior will be shaped by both narrow [individual / short-term] and wide [colony / long-term] circumstantial advantage. behavior will tend to be shaped to match probabilities. successful consumption and preservation does not require high intelligence [intellectual capacity] feelings create motivation and establish urgency... they are a reaction, that invite/necessitate a further reaction... they create the guideposts of attraction and repulsion. designed to be motivated not satisfied
