Independent RF Study shows the BORO is Covered. During the conifer hearings, the township had an independent RF study done that shows the BORO by the shopping center is covered with the CONIFER tower. This is also backed by testimony from the conifer CASE. Everything is now on the record..

And what would explain the lack of cell service in the shopping center? If fat thighs and spandex block the cell service, that is probably the case, but I don't think they do.

I am Really curious how old is your phone or when you updated your roaming list last? since 11/7/07 the service is fine. This is the date the conifer site went live. for verizon - *BAU (*228) Update's your phone's preferred roaming list (BAU-Bell Atlantic Update) Airtime Free. (May also be called *ACT for activations)

Optimize Verizon Wireless Roaming Capability

You can optimize your cell phone service and assure access to the most current communication towers by updating the roaming service on your Verizon Wireless phone. IS&T recommends that you do this update at least once a month.
Note: Older cell phones may not have access to this feature.

To update your roaming service:

1. From your cell phone, enter *228 and press SEND (this is a free call).
Result: The display reads Programming in Progress.

2. Listen to the prompts. At the prompt, "Press 2 to upgrade your phone's roaming capabilities", press 2.

3. When the upgrade is complete, you will hear a confirmation message: "Your phone has been programmed successfully. Thank you for calling Verizon Wireless." This will be followed by 3 beeps.

4. Depending on which phone you have, either the phone will reset itself, or you will need to click Done or some other key stroke, to end the programming, after which the update is complete.

Just for shits and giggles, took my phone (13 months old) and a brand new one (both on verizon) and tried them at the shopping center. Spotty service at best, so let's erect that giant horse cock of a celltower!!

The key is not the number of bars but can or can't you make a call and hold it.

The phone may be in pilot mode on 1900mhz. Showing 1 to 2 bars.

If you go to make a call it may stay at 1900mhz or switch to 850mhz with 4 bars.

You should be able to see this using test mode.

The shopping center is right at the handoff between daytop and conifer. If anything needs to be done is the down tilt of conifer needs to be bumped by 1 half degree. from 8 degrees to 7.5.

Motorola and a Casio. either "service not available" message or when it did connect, it was either a lousy connection or dropped completely. Worst area was on Laundromat side, across parking lot midway.

If anything is needed it is now more than a repeater in the clock tower justbuilt on the top of kings. The steel is creating shadows and depending on the phone makes the biggest diffence. My Att / samsung blackjack and tracphone are fine.

Every verizon phone works. There is absolutely no issue. In fact they should put a cell blocker at the pool so that you don't have to hear everyone talking on the phone. FUCK YOU

Did you just learn swear words, so you have to capitalize them all the time ASSHOLE. By the way, when you were conceived, your mother had taken it up the ass, so that accounts for how you turned out.

so you say your cell phone doesent work in the shopping center eh? I think you need to understand a little bit more about r f radiation. all electrical equipment makes it. It doesent go through masonry too well. Floresent lighting in perticular makes a lot of it. It will jam your signal. The shopping center buildings are all masonry. Almmost every store in the shopping center has eight foot floresent lights. You say your phone doesent work in the shopping center??? GO OUTSIDE TO GET SIGNAL AND STOP WASTING THE TIME OF THE PERSON BEHIND YOU WAITING TO GET HELP!!!
