Mendham has more than its share of banks along Main Street. Even if these banks don't fail, many of the survivors will nonetheless choose to close or consolidate branches. By a quick count, that's a potential of 5 banks within about a 1/2 mile, and that's not to mention the investment advisory offices that face the same issue. That could leave a pretty good scar on the local commercial real estate market for years to come. Hopefully this doesn't come to pass.

Just about any one of those bank buildings would make a great location for a starbucks or other drive-thru business. For every door that closes another opens.

well at least an Arbies!!!! lil roast beasty sammiches, 5 for $5 with curly q fries, well seasoned and salted, I can live on those lil sammmiches, 5 for 5$. Plus Carl Jr.s ham and egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with lil tater tots and a extra large coffee with two queams. They make a good Santa Fe Chicken sammich with lots of gooey mayoanise and ruskie dressing and a slab of green CHILEE pepper. I can eat two of those cold for lunch as that brings out the JUICES, so refrigerate them four hours and eat with raw hands. I like a McDomalds cruncy crispy bacon bisquit breakfast sammie and that frylighter potatoe slab with delicate seasonings. I also like a tastyee healvily tartered whaler sandwiche with extra tarter sauce so when you squeeze it down in your terminator hands tarter good squeezes out all four sides. It mixes with the melty cheese and makes an almost casserole dish, but in a bun. TAco BElles taxco salad is taco goode two! its got little containers of tomatoey salsa and queams too. And the freshly prepared taco mix is tasty too.
