Welcome To The Mendham Business Association An organization dedicated to promote local businesses. The Mendham Business Association would like to invite area businesses to join the Association. The Mendham Business Association was formed to promote business in Mendham and also to make Mendham a better place to shop. The Association arranges many events during the year. Such events consist of the Golf Outing to raise money for scholarships for high school seniors, Sidewalk Sales, Coupon Mailing, and the annual Holly Trail in December. The Association awarded two scholarships of $1,000 each to two seniors in Mendham this past year. The Mendham Business Association also tried to beautify Mendham by purchasing Holiday Flags for the season. We are also in the process of looking into other ideas. The association and shops are here for the Mendham residents. All businesses and home based businesses are invited to join. It is a great way to meet and network with other local businesses. The Mendham Business Association is planning its annual sidewalk sales on Friday, May 5th and Saturday, May 6, 2006. It will run from 10 am to 4 pm on both days. The Association will also be sponsoring a town Yard /Garage sale on this day. Crafters and home-based businesses will be in the shopping center. A map with the addresses of houses will be included in the Observer Tribune. Any resident of Mendham wishing to have a garage sale at their home are invited to sign up. The Mendham Business Association announced that they will be awarding scholarships to any students in the Mendhams that will be going to a four-year college or a business school and who are interested in the business profession. An application forms are available at Robinson Drug Shop and Mendham High School. Deadline for filing applications will be May 15, 2006. The Mendham Business Association will hold its seventh annual Chris Franklin Memorial Golf Outing on May 22, 2006. This year the outing will be co-sponsor by the Somerset Hills Bank. Hole in one prizes include a Ford , Audi and Rolex watch compliments of Mendham Ford, Audi of Mendham and Mendham Jewelers. There will also be three other hole in prizes. This year's event will be held at the Roxiticus Golf and Country Club in Mendham.
